This “Motown Charity Extravaganza” effort raised a total of RM35,000 for distribution to Montfort Boys Town, Rumah KIDS, SPCA, Rumah Kanak-Kanak ANGELS, Pakistan & Afghanistan Winter Fund, Yayasan Nur, Yayasan Kepala Batas.

This CSR Event successfully raised RM61,345 for Yayasan Nur and randomly selected, Medically-Challenged Individuals.

This Charity Dinner Show raised RM102,009 for distribution to Yayasan Amal Wangsa and RM14,656.95 for the Force of Nature Aid Foundation and other needy individuals.

“Elvis to the Max” returned by popular demand and a sum of RM160,000 was raised for distribution to the Malaysian Liver Foundation, Malaysian Association for the Blind and Bandar Utama Buddhist Society.

This Charity Dinner Show featuring original Superstars from the “Rock n Roll Hall of Fame” raised a total sum of RM27,000 for distribution to Yayasan NUR, SSL Haemodialysis, Bandar Utama Buddhist Society & Wheelchair Tennis Malaysia.

Featuring original Superstar Liz Mitchell, this Charity Dinner Show raised RM66,897.72 for distribution to the National Autism Society, Yayasan SSL Haemodialysis, “MYCAT” (Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers), Kechara Soup Kitchen & Force of Nature Aid Foundation plus RM13,500.00 for Yvonne Foong Ming Niang who suffers from neurofibromatosis, a genetically-inherited disorder requiring repeated surgery.

Visit to Charity Home In Vietnam- 6 January 2011

In January, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts outside of Malaysia, Lejadi Foundation made an impromptu visit to the Bo De Temple Home in Hanoi, Vietnam. Through its Chairman and senior executives, we donated 120 blankets, milk & beverages to this home which supports 115 homeless persons with ages ranging from 2 weeks to 100 years old. Pictures show the Temple’s Abbot, Rev. Lan & some home residents, with Lejadi Foundation’s Chairman Tan Sri Lim, C.O.O. Chantelle Chuah, Sr. Mgr Corporate Comm., Annissa & Mr Alan Yew, our Malaysian friend in Vietnam cum freelance volunteer & Banker.


On 28th September 2011, Tan Sri (Dr) Lim Ewe Jin, Chairman of Lejadi Foundation presented a contribution of RM10,000-00 to Cik Shahidah Ishak, a 33 year old lecturer in Economics & Business Management at the Institute Professional Baitulmal, at Kg. Pandan, KL who is the holder of an ICSA qualification & Masters in Management from Univ. Islam Antarabangsa (UIA)

Unmarried and Daughter of a retired police seargant, Syahidah was discovered in July 2010 to be suffering from a brain tumor (sized 3.8cm x 4cm). She went through her 1st operation at HUKM in October 2010 but only 1.5cm of the tumor could be removed after a 12 hour operation thus leaving 2.5cm behind! After the operation, her face is now affected, her right eye is not focusing properly whilst her arms and legs have lost their strength.

She now needs to go for a 2nd operation at the House Ear Clinic in L.A., California on 12th October 2011 and the cost of Operation is estimated at USD44,000/- (NOT including other associated expenses). 2 other Friends of the Lejadi Foundation namely, Tan Sri MS Tan and Dato’ Seri Eric Lim also donated RM5,000-00 and RM1,000-00 respectively to help her out with her critical medical expenses.

On 30th September 2011, Tan Sri (Dr) Lim Ewe Jin, Chairman of Lejadi Foundation presented a contribution of RM10,000-00 to Mr. Louise Liong, a 20 year old student from Kolej Yayasan UEM who scored full A-s at the A-Levels in June 2011. His parents divorced when he was four years old and his mother has since raised him single-handedly.

He was admitted to further his studies at the University of Manchester in UK for Philosophy, Politics and Economics hence the Lejadi Foundation awarded him an outright Education Grant of RM10,000/- in acknowledgement of his sterling performance and to help him along with his aspirations.
